The conception of pyo(øö) bon(Üâ) joong(ñé) in the part of woongihak(ê¡Ñ¨ùÊ) of negeong(Ò®ÌÓ) one of the important thing that decides the relation between six gi(ë»Ñ¨) and samyum and samyang(ß²ëäß²åÕ) or between each other's of samyum and samyang itself, it says that the relation of Pyo-rce(øúìÀ). So this conception from the ancient times have been used to explain the theory of meridian(ÌèÕ©) and organs(çéíôë»Ý°) and in other important field of oriental medicine - Sanghannon(ß¿ùÎÖå), it became basis of explanation of pcthoiogical principles in the system of six kyung(ë»ÌÓ). At first, the subject or this study is limited to the rament of ¡¶Somun(áÈÙý)¡· in order to find the accurate and original meanings of pyo(øö) bon(Üâ) joong(ñé). And the meanings are studied by the way of expanding it's meaning with basic conceptions of woongihak(ê¡Ñ¨ùÊ) and astronomy included in negeong(Ò®ÌÓ). In this study, the results are summarized as the followings. 1. The contents of - the 68th chapter of negeong(Ò®ÌÓ), concerning pyo(øö) and joong(ñé) come under chogi(ôøѨ) and joonggi(ñéѨ) of the same chapter, after consideration of astronomical knowledge. And they become active during the period that last about 30days, a haft of one step(ìéÜÆ) of kaekgi(ËÔѨ). 2. Bon(Üâ) as a kind of six gi(ë»Ñ¨) that is revealed from internal principle of something, that is to say Ohhaeng(çéú¼), comes mainly under the kaekgi(ËÔѨ) of woongihak(ê¡Ñ¨ùÊ) with the meaning of 'sign' is thai the specific properties of six gi(ë»Ñ¨) are revealed to our sight, so we can feel that through the change of nature, Joong(ñé) is the other property hidden in the inside of six gi(ë»Ñ¨), that is a portion of original nature(Üâàõ) like the bon(Üâ). 3. The relation of pyo(øö) and bon(Üâ) is like that bctween the principle hidden inside in all things(×â) and it's expression into the real world(Ѩ) also similar to thai of yumyang(ëäåÕ) and ohhaeng(çéú¼). Therefore bon(Üâ), though it means one of the six gi(ë»Ñ¨), hale the property of ohhaeng(çéú¼) and pyo(øö) is revealed, with an appearance of samyum-samyang(ß²ëäß²ëä). 4. pyo(øö) and joong(ñé) are also the both sides of yum(ëä) and yang(ëä) that revealed under the change of yumyang-ohhaengl(ëäåÕçéú¼) in the nature. For example, if the one is yang(ëä), the other is yum(ëä). In the process that the change of all things is revealed out, first the property of pyo(øö) appears strongly and then that of joong(ñé) appears comparatively weakly. But, in spite of the inhibitive relation of yumyang(ëäåÕ), pyo(øö) and joong(ñé) promote each other. 5. Under the course of change. It happens according to the bon(Üâ), the property of ohhaeng(çéú¼) in the case of soyang(á´åÕ) and taeyum(÷¼ëä), because the effect of moisture(ã¥) and fire(ûý) that makes hyung(û¡) and gi(Ѩ) is very strong in the universe. In the case of taeyang(÷¼åÕ) and soyum(á´ëä), it happens according to the bon(Üâ) and pyo(øö) because they hare the polarity of water and fire(ûýâ©), at the same time, are not separated each other. In the case of yangmeong(åÕÙ¥) and gualyum(Ïðëä), the change appears only according to the joong(ñé), but not strongly because the phase of yangmeong(åÕÙ¥) and gualyum(Ïðëä) is a lull phase processing to the next one.
